DESCRIPTION:These are scheduled conversations for our new kindergarten parents with the Kindergarten Staff.  This year we will be offering one 20 minute session per family\, which will be taking place all day Wednesday\, September 5th in the library. We will also have some additional availability on Thursday and Friday of the same week\, which will be held in the Kindergarten wing. SUMMARY:Yom Kippur
DESCRIPTION:Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) is one of two Jewish High Holy Days. The first High Holy Day is Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year). Yom Kippur falls ten days after Rosh Hashanah on the 10th of Tishrei–the Hebrew month that correlates with September-October on the secular calendar. The purpose of Yom Kippur is to bring about reconciliation between people and between individuals and God. According to Jewish tradition\, it is also the day when God decides the fate of each human being. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAlthough Yom Kippur is an intense\, solemn  holiday\, it is nevertheless viewed as a happy day\, since if one has properly observed this holiday\,  by the end of Yom Kippur they will have made lasting peace with others and with God.

PAC welcomes you to come meet your child’s teacher during this school community event.  Bring a blanket\, school spirit and enjoy the evening. \n“Bring your own picnic dinner” or eat before you come\, instead of a BBQ.  We welcome you to bring a dessert or snack to share with others. \n5:45 pm – 6:15 pm – Classrooms open for parents to come in to meet the teacher\n6:15 pm – 7:00 pm – Families gather outside to enjoy their own picnic on the black top or back field and share desserts. \nWe look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday\, September 20th\, 2018! \n
