  • Report Cards Home

    Today the First Term report cards will come home with your child.  Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions.  If an additional copy is required, please be in touch with the teacher.

  • Pancake Breakfast & PJ’s

    We finish off our last day before the winter break with a Pancake Breakfast put on our wonderful volunteers friends at Coast Capital Savings.  We also encourage and welcome students and staff to wear their PJ's to school.  Nothing better than pancakes in pajamas!

    Christmas celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Jesus.

  • Kwanzaa

    Kwanzaa is celebrated by many North Americans of West African descent in recognition of their African heritage.

  • Boxing Day

    Observed annually on December 26 in Canada, the U.K. and Commonwealth countries around the world, Boxing Day was traditionally the day employers would give their staff Christmas presents, called "boxes," to celebrate the season.

  • Ground Hog Day

    According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.

    Aboriginal Family Dinner starts @ 6:00 p.m.  This is a dinner that welcomes Aboriginal students and their family to our school.  We celebrate aboriginal student achievement and connect with  families around food and stories.  The evening is over by 7:30 pm.

    At 2 a.m. the clocks "spring" forward an hour for daylight savings.  Adjust your clocks around your house.

  • Report Cards Go Home

    Students will bring home their second term report cards.  Please enjoy celebrating your child(ren)'s successes and goal setting for the third term.

  • Green Spirit Day

    In honour of St. Patrick's Day, students will be encouraged to wear green for a fun spirit day.

  • Spring Break

    This is our district spring break.  There is no school for students or staff.  We look forward to students returning relaxed and refreshed!

  • St. Patrick’s Day

    St. Patrick's Day is a global celebration of Irish culture.  It particularly remembers St. Patrick, one of Ireland's patron saints, who ministered Christianity in Ireland during the fifth century.

  • Easter

    Easter Sunday in Canada celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection after his death, which is described in the Christian Bible. Some people observe Easter Sunday by attending church while others spend time with their families and friends or engage in Easter egg activities.

  • Jump Rope for Heart

    Students in their classes will enjoy an afternoon of heart healthy exercise based on skipping.  Students have been encourage to seek sponsors or donations for the Heart and Stroke Foundation as so many of our families have been affected by these health problems.
